First-Gen Futures at VCU

First-Gen Futures at VCU is an official VCU student organization focusing on the professional and financial development of first-gen college students, and it is open to all VCU students with an interest in professional development, financial literacy, and community.

The mission of First-Gen Futures at VCU is to empower first-generation college students by providing comprehensive support in financial literacy and professional development. We aim to facilitate their transition from academia to the workforce or further education, ensuring they are well prepared and confident in their journey.

Events include monthly presentations and workshops focusing on honing skills pertaining to professional development and financial literacy.
