First Generation Student Success Ambassador Training

This program is designed to build and support a community of champions with a shared understanding of the challenges faced by our first-generation students. You First Ambassadors (1) attend a 1.5-hour workshop that provides information and resources related to first-generation and AAPI student success, (2) agree to display the First-Gen Ambassador sticker (see below) outside their office to let others know they can provide support and information about resources for first-generation and AAPI students, and (3) serve as a resource to other faculty, staff and/or students who have questions about first-generation and AAPI student issues.
